Finally! The title of my cattery is approved and it is Woden! Woden as in the leader of wild hunt. Why my No1 choice was Woden? Well, kurilians are great hunters, natural predators still undiluted by many years of breeding as other cat breeds. Give them a moving target and watch them destroy it :) Anything made of feathers. fur of even a plastic bag -- what a show of energy, speed and pure joy. They love to play and hunt. Hence the leader of the wild hunt! Welcome to Woden - kurilian bobtail cattery!

Punto Peruano is the name of a knitting or crocheting technique from (as you could guess easily :) ) Peru.
I accidentally stumbled upon it while browsing various hobby forums and decided to try it.

Turns out I missed this piece of soutache in my blog -- a brooch or hairclip to go with my Green summer earrings and pendant.

My most recent pieces of soutache jewellery -- a take on Green summer earrings in other colours.
The red one turned out very rich:

So, finally I came round to taking photos and posting my wedding jewellery here.
My dress was moss green with a tarnished gold centre and I wanted my jewellery to compliment it but not to stand out too much.
After a long search I finally settled on fluorite stone as the main colour accent for the necklace and a brooch (which is not yet photographed properly -- to come in a later post).
That's how it looked on me that day. It brings a smile to my face whenever I'm looking through our wedding day photos.

While looking for suitable stones for my wedding jewellery I fell in love with fluorite. Understandably ended up getting more of it than I needed for the necklace, earrings and a brooch for my dress.
This is only some of the leftovers fashioned into earrings:
