A few more frivolite pieces made for Christmas presents. I really like this idea of something as small as a knot making these beautiful designs. And the you ahve colours, and forms and... basically freedom, that's what I like about making things with your own hands. It takes my mind of things, lets me forget unpleasant events, sad things, etc.
This one looked very archaic from the design, I can see it becoming something bigger if I have time.

Some more Christmas gitfs. This time felted. I had been putting off trying anything bigger than a flower brooch for a long time, but when my mother said, taht she wanted a particular colour felted scarf I realised that I will have to cross that bridge pretty soon.

Something new I tried before Christmas. I like to work with needles and yarn, thread, ribbons, so frivolite or tatting in general, needle tatting in particular was a lot of fun for me and something I quickly got the hang of. i do not think I am going to try shuttle tatting, needle tatting is plenty exciting and quite versatile for me.
Here are a few things that I made for presents for some people last year (weird, already last year :) ).
A snowflake -- I like those, I will probably make a bigger one at some point to use as a doily, they look beautiful.
