Wedding jewellery

16:28:00

So, finally I came round to taking photos and posting my wedding jewellery here.
My dress was moss green with a tarnished gold centre and I wanted my jewellery to compliment it but not to stand out too much.
After a long search I finally settled on fluorite stone as the main colour accent for the necklace and a brooch (which is not yet photographed properly -- to come in a later post).

That's how it looked on me that day. It brings a smile to my face whenever I'm looking through our wedding day photos.

I chose not to make soutache earrings so as not to have the whole thing too top heavy. They are made from amethyst (the bottom stone), fluorite bead and peridot shards. The wire is gold plated. They measure about 6 cm in length.

The necklace was made out of 6 soutache elements chained together with fluorite beads on gold plated wire. The centre dangle is amethyst again and the square stones in the two centre soutache elements are most likely peridot with citrine, or something similar. The shape and colour was perfect for what I had in mind, so I got them even without knowing what stone they were.

The biggest beads are amethyst, the smallest ones as well, the medium ones are peridot in several sizes. The seed beads are Gutterman -- I love the quality and colours of this brand.

P.S. More to come on our wedding jewellery, yes, Tadas also had something special made for him for that day!

All the pictures are taken by me unless mentioned otherwise. If you fancy a piece of soutache jewellery with any of the stones on my website or a piece of soutache jewellery in general -- send me a message or convo me on Etsy.
